Monday is Shoes Day

OK OK maybe it isn’t by law, but I think it’s a good way to start a new week. Or even the best way. I mean, what can make a better start than getting new shoes as the first thing you do this week? Isn’t it a sign for a great beginning? Terrific Karma? Optimism?

If you twist my arm really badly and make me choose one pair to get this week started the best way for me, I’d make it a practical pick. Something I can “justify”, or at least excuse . I really need a new pair of heels to match with my skinny denim, my pencil skirts, my suits and my new floral dress I got this weekend.
One pair. That’s all. May I?

So I picked Tory Burch Sandals, called Amina. They are reasonably priced ($350), they are made of denim, have almost 5″ and a woven platform. Indeed, perfect!

I’m in love. I think I’m starting a new ritual: one pair of shoes, every Monday. I just started my week with a smile, I hope you did too!
