Fashion Traffic x Zemanta!
Blog,While you were sleeping, or blogging your way to fashion galore, we partnered with Zemanta to bring you, savvy fashion bloggers, the right plugin to help your blogging become a much easier task. At the crack of dawn, we uploaded the option to our website, and soon started getting lots of excited emails from you, telling us that you love it 
We are so happy! In order to make sure you all got it, I wanted to take this wonderful opportunity to introduce you to the cool Zemanta people, Jure, Tin and Andraj, and to tell all of you about what Zemanta is, and more importantly – how can it help you blog!
Fashion Traffic: Hello Zemanta! Welcome to Fashion Traffic. We would like to introduce you to our community. Could you please tell us what is Zemanta all about? What is the idea behind Zemanta?
Zemanta: The idea is really simple – writing may be hard, but researching, finding images, building a list of relevant sources and linking to relevant pages is boring and time consuming. Zemanta makes this faster and more fun.
FT: How many bloggers are currently using your service?
Z: We have close to 100,000 active bloggers that use Zemanta.
FT: Your collaboration with Fashion Traffic rises a lot of questions from our bloggers, especially those who use us in their blog posts. Could you please explain what we are doing together? Where did the idea come from?
Z: Well, Fashion Traffic offers a great service that provides lots of images with affiliate links to bloggers. But up until now bloggers had to get the embed codes in Fashion Traffic dashboard and then copy/paste them to their blog posts. With Zemanta all of their images are already there, right next to their editor and they can add them to their blog post with a click of a button.
Images show up automatically as users write their blog post or they can be searched manually.
And here’s a little hint: if you want to see only Fashion Traffic images, write “ft:” in the search box. For example, write “ft: jeans” if you only want to see images of jeans from Fashion Traffic.
FT: That’s really cool! If you were a fashion blogger, how would you use our collaboration best? How is it done exactly? Can bloggers use Zemanta on every blogging platform?
Z: If you are a Fashion Traffic user, finding and adding images to your blog posts should be much easier once you start using Zemanta. Best place to start for you would be here (click on the link).
If you are Zemanta user who blogs about fashion, you should apply for an account at Fashion Traffic – here, in order to get revenue for using images from affiliate programs.
Zemanta works best on WordPress, Blogger and TypePad. You will need to sign-up here and download a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox or Safari.
FT: The world of apps, plugins, addons and other great tools for online publishing is growing as we speak. What is your take on this? What are the benefits of using Zemanta’s plugin over others? What are your future plans?
Z: By using Zemanta you become a part of a publishing community that is not based on fake friendship but on similar content and interests. You join others who write about the same things as you do. By linking to them you build valuable relationships and gently promote your content to relevant and influential publishers.
“Link love” is what we call this reciprocal logic and we are building it into the heart of our systems. In the future you can expect a lot of love from us. 
FT: To conclude this wonderful post, what is your best advice to a blogger who uses Zemanta for the first time? Is there a magic trick you might want to share with our blogger community?
